Following our 'Design Your Own Job' workshop with Alec, he challenged us to change our social media bios to the names we had created. The one I chose was 'goddess of packaging goodness'.
I didn't want to put this on my social media as I felt it really limited myself to packaging, and because I am in the process of applying for jobs that are not neccessarily packaging related, I felt it wasn't the best idea.
I came up with an alternative idea; 'goddess of graphic design'. I tried this out but just wasn't feeling it. I felt it was perhaps slightly too cheesey.
Eventually I settled on something I had thought of a few months prior - 'graphic designer & girlboss'. I felt like this commented on my personality more rather than just referring to my job title. It also didn't limit me to one area of graphic design.
